Getting Things Started
To start things off I took my ground turkey and cooked it in a skillet. While the turkey cooked, I sliced the potatoes and onion up into slices. Once the turkey finished cooking, I then began to add layers into the slow cooker.
Making the Layers
I started by placing half of the sliced potatoes in the bottom of the slow cooker. I then seasoned the potatoes with half of the seasonings. I added the onion and turkey on top and followed with a layer of cheese. I then repeated this so I had two full layers.
Finishing Touches
Once I finished making the layers, I poured a can of chicken stock evenly over the layers. I covered the slow cooker and cooked it on high for 4 hours without stirring or removing the lid. I then divided the meal between 6 dishes, served, and enjoyed!
