Orange Dream Cupcakes

Yellow cake mix, with an Orange Jello drizzle, topped with Whipped Cream and a touch of Orange Zest makes these cupcakes the cupcakes of your dreams!

Making the Batter

To start things off, I dumped a can of sprite zero into the Sugar Free Cake mix and mixed it until the batter was smooth.

I then took the zest of 2 small oranges and added it to the batter, and spooned the batter into the cupcake tins.

Orange Drizzle

I baked the cupcakes using the boxes instruction for cupcakes. While the cupcakes are cooking I moved onto the Orange Jello Drizzle. Boil the water and dissolve the jello packet in the water. Once dissolved, set the mixture aside until the cupcakes come out of the oven.

Pulling Things Together

After the cupcakes are cooked through, I took a tooth pick and made several small holes in each cupcake.

I then poured the orange jello over each cupcake, spreading out the jello evenly.

I then topped each cupcake with whipped cream and a touch of orange zest!
