Garlic Butter Mashed Potato Balls

Mashed potatoes, pan fried in a salted garlic butter, and topped with parsley. A great way to use up those left of mashed potatoes from Thanksgiving, or any other time you over estimate the number of mashed potatoes you will need!

Prepping the Spuds

This recipe is so simple, and pretty much anyone can do it. I took the tub of left over mashed potatoes and formed balls from the cold spuds. You can also make little patties and make more of a pancake than a ball, either way they are still delicious.

Then I heated up the butter, garlic, salt, and parsley in a skillet and plopped in the spuds. I tried to remember which ones i put in first so that they would cook evenly. It is a tad harder than you would think, especially when multitasking the main dish with it. It is not the end of the world if you forget, some just may get a tad toasty.

I kept turning the spud balls one by one until they were heated through, and had a nice crisp on all sides. That's It! So easy and so fast! The were really yummy!

Note: If you don't salt you mashed potatoes when you originally make them, adding some to taste before serving balances out the garlic and butter
