Cooking the Pork Chops
I sprayed my skillet really well with non-stick spray and then placed the pork chops into the pan. I then seasoned my pork chops with some of the slat, pepper, and cayenne and let them cook for 7 minutes- this time will vary based on how thick the pork chops are- mine were about an inch think. I then flipped the pork chops over and added the remaining salt, pepper, and cayenne and cooked them on that side for another 7 minutes. I took them off the pan and placed them on a plate and covered the plate with foil
Making the Cinnamon Apples and Onions
In the same pan i took the pork chops out of, I melted the butter and added in the chopped apples, onions, cinnamon, and brown sugar. I mixed them and cooked them over medium heat until they began to soften
Finishing Touches
I added in the apple cider and let it come to a boil. Once boiling, I added in the pork chops and covered the skillet for 5 minutes.
I then took the cover off and let the liquid cook off until the sauce was thickened and the pork chops cooked through. Serve the pork chops smothered in the cinnamon apples and enjoy!
