Mixing Things Together
In a microwave safe bowl, I mashed all but a few slices of a banana. I then added in skim milk and the oats and mixed together with the mashed banana. I then stirred in the brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, and salt and mixed until everything was evenly combined.
Cooking it Up
I placed the bowl in the microwave and cooked for 2 minutes if using old fashion oats, and 4 minutes if using steal cut When done cooking, I topped the oatmeal with my slices of banana set aside before mashing and a sprinkle of cinnamon! Serve hot, and enjoy!
