Mixing it All Up

To make these apple pie oats, I mix 1 cup of oats with 3/4 cup of plain, unsweetened apple sauce. I then added in the cinnamon and stirred until it was all incorporated.

Cooking the Apples

Using an Apple Cutter, I sliced up an apple, then broke it into chunks and placed in a small, microwave safe bowl, and microwaved them for 2.5 minutes

While those are cooking down in the microwave, I used a spoon to make a hole down the center of my oats where the apples will fit in.

After the apples are done cooking, I spooned the apples into the hole and dumped the juice at the bottom of the bowl on top. I then covered the apples with the oats, placed a cover on the jar, and placed in the fridge overnight

In the morning remove the oats from the fridge and enjoy cold!
